Post-Cleanse Plan
After spending several days drinking only pure fresh juices, we begin to contemplate what it will be like to go back to solid foods, and normal foodie life, a common realization can be that it’s actually not so hard NOT eating, and EATING is what is really hard.
To ease this challenge have a cleansing smoothie at
around 3 or 4PM, and follow this by working out your
menu for the next few days. And then tonight a creamy
and cleansing almond "Comfort" drink before bedtime
consumed cold, or warm as you prefer.
TIP:
do not work out your break fast menu’s until AFTER you
have had your smoothie. It keeps things “real” and makes
it less “edgy.”
We will take half the total number of days you have been
cleansing to fully return to regular eating. So if you
have been cleansing 3 days, take a day and a half to
step back to a regular menu.
If you have been cleansing 6 days, take 3 days of break
fast planning,
etc.
MENU PLANNING:
In your journal, since we will be working backwards, go
into it 4 pages or more, depending on how many days you
have been cleansing. On the last page, start writing out what
Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, Snacks etc, that you would eat
on a perfect day, in the perfect body, with the perfect
job, and the perfect love partner, in the perfect life.
What would THAT person be eating in order to maintain
that perfect body and life? What's on THAT person's menu
for a day in the life?
This menu is your first day's menu once your break fast
stage is complete. This is what your normal post-cleanse
diet would look like.
Now go back to the first page. Here is where we will plan our segue menus. Add foods in the following order - adding one of these 5 food types each day, according to what would be on your ideal life and body menu for Day 4. If your perfect you on a perfect day menu includes seafoods, it would be five days before you worked up to it. If you are a vegan on your perfect day in the perfect body, then you will be back to your normal eating sooner.

& Vegetables - good fats such as avocado/olive oil/UDO's
oil - 1st day

Grains & Legumes - 2nd day

Soy, Dairy & Eggs - 3rd day

Animal Flesh foods - 4th day

Seafood and shell fish - 5th day
Of course your juices are great to incorporate into your
daily menus as snacks or mini meals. Consider blending
fresh whole fruits into your juices to create smoothies.
Bananas, fresh berries, whole spinach leaves, cucumbers,
are all great blended whole into your fresh juices.
About animal flesh and seafood - these are very dense
foods that will require your body to become very acidic
in order to be digested. It's a lot of work and your
body is very sensitive and clean. Shellfish is the
hardest and most work of all for your body to digest.
(Think about it: they are muscles - you must produce
acids to burn through them). DO NOT EAT SEA FOOD before
day 4 or 5. IF you will be going back to these foods,
your body needs some time to get back up to speed.
As you begin to enjoy your clean light body, you may
very well find you prefer fruits and vegetables, salads,
smoothies and soups and grains with healthy fats such as
avocados and good cold pressed oils over animal flesh
foods. Consider the possibility of using this as an
opportunity to reduce or eliminate consumption of animal
flesh foods – including sea food. Try it for a few weeks
and see how you feel.
